CHEF CJ HAMMER
BORN JANUARY 6, 1977
CJ BECAME INTERESTED IN FOOD WHILE WORKING AT ST. MIKES AS A SERVER IN 1999. HE QUICKLY MIGRATED TO THE KITCHEN AND WORKED HIS WAY TO SOUS CHEF. IN 2003, HE ATTENDED AND GRADUATED FROM LE CORDON BLEU CALIFORNIA CULINARY ACADEMY IN SAN FRANCISCO. AFTER HIS EXTERNSHIP WITH ROY YAMAGUCHI AT ROY'S RESTAURANT IN HONOLULU, CJ CONTINUED HIS TRAINING AT ZUNI CAFE IN SAN FRANCISCO. IN OCTOBER 2005, RETURNED TO PICK UP THE REIGNS AT SAINT MICHAEL'S ALLEY AS HEAD CHEF.
